PUBLIC HEARING: YES NO XX <br />ATTACHMENTS: INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />PAM JONES; EXT 2650 <br />Telephone Number: <br />Hillsborough 732 -8181 <br />Chapel Hill /Carrboro 967 -9251 <br />Mebane 227 -2031 <br />Durham 688 -7331 <br />PURPOSE: To receive a report regarding the planning process and <br />progress to date regarding the proposed Government Services Center. <br />BACKGROUND: For the past several months, the architectural firm, <br />Haken - Corley Associates, Inc. has worked with the Planning Committee <br />and County staff to develop floor plans and elevations for the <br />proposed Government Services Center. <br />As you may recall, the procedure prescribed by the Board at the <br />beginning of the planning process required that two elevations be <br />developed and presented for Public comment before the final selection <br />was made. The Architects will present those two plans during this <br />report and the elevations will be on display in the County <br />Administration Building through December 10, 1990. The Public is <br />encouraged to view the plans and to submit their comments in a <br />letter to the Manager or on the forms provided at the display site. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Receive report from Haken- Corley Associates, Inc. <br />P.1 <br />
