Agricultural Districts Advisory Board <br />Collins reported that the Board has met and <br />prepared a tentative schedule for drafting a <br />Purchase of Development Rights proposal. They <br />will be using the Land Evaluation Site System <br />which was prepared by the U. S. Department of <br />Agriculture. The goal is to have the proposal <br />ready for the Board of Commissioners to review <br />and consider at their December Goal Setting <br />Retreat. <br />g. New Hope Creek Corridor Study Committee <br />Hamilton reported that comments from the public <br />hearing were discussed at the last meeting of <br />this committee. Durham - County continues to be <br />different in its approach from Orange County. <br />Durham County would like to be more specific <br />regarding the cost and the definition of trails. <br />Hamilton noted that her preference seemed <br />to be the same as that of Orange County which <br />prefers more of an open space corridor as opposed <br />to strictly defined trails. <br />Eidenier presented a letter from Susan Waldrop <br />of the Recreation Advisory Committee endorsing <br />the New Hope Creek Corridor. She asked Hamilton <br />if she felt such a letter from the Planning Board <br />was necessary. Hamilton responded that she felt <br />her attendance at the meetings and presenting the <br />Planning Board's was sufficient and the Board <br />agreed. <br />AGENDA ITEM #8: PLANNING BOARD ITEMS <br />a.
