Provide support to specific cities and towns requesting <br />assistance on high priority development issues. <br />3. Provide assistance to companies in the Region to begin <br />or increase international trade and promote the <br />successful operation of the Research Triangle world <br />Trade Center and the Foreign Trade Zone #93 in the <br />Triangle <br />4.. Seek to connect the Region with metropolitan toll -free <br />telephone service. <br />59 Continue and improve the COG's program of helping the <br />towns of the Region to revitalize their downtown areas. <br />.6. Continue to promote the Raleigh- Durham International <br />Airport-; plan and promote -- world class sports events, <br />and enhance regional marketing efforts by the chambers <br />of commerce as vehicles for economic development in the <br />Region. <br />7..
