3 <br />1979 Charge of Cable TV Citigens Advisory Committee <br />(Excerpt from 12 -3 -79 minutes) <br />Commissioner Barnes moved, seconded by Commissioner Willhoit, to <br />adopt the charge of the Cable TV citizens Advisory Committee as <br />follows: <br />Purpose: Develop recommendations on criteria to be used in granting <br />cable TV franchise(s). <br />1) Identify the various areas in the County to be served - density <br />criteria. <br />2) Recommend priorities for selection of programs and service <br />options normally considered in granting of franchises. <br />3) Review Ordinance and propose amendments where Committee deems <br />advisable. <br />4) Develop items to be addressed in the franchise agreement, <br />including, but not limited to, interconnections with other <br />systems, treatment of areas subject to annexation, in-town/out- <br />of-town service agreement, variations and the line extension <br />policy. <br />5) Explore any other aspects of a nature which the committee deems <br />germane. <br />
