L� <br />PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ORANGE COUNTY SUBDIVISION <br />REGULATIONS AND ORANGE COUNTY PRIVATE ROAD STANDARDS <br />Listed on the attached sheets are proposed amendments to <br />Sections IV and V of the Orange County Subdivision <br />Regulations and to the Orange County Private Road Standards. <br />The amendments are intended to clarify situations where <br />private roads are appropriate and to emphasize that County <br />involvement with a private road ends once it is constructed <br />and certified to meet County standards. <br />The amendments reflect the recommendations of the <br />Transportation Advisory Subcommittee (TAS) and the Planning <br />Board. Where existing text was initially proposed to be <br />removed, it has been eliminated. Proposed new text has been <br />retained and is underlined. Where revisions to the proposed <br />text have been recommended by the TAS and Planning Board, <br />they are shown in bold type. Explanatory comments, as <br />appropriate, are shown in (italics). <br />3 <br />r <br />
