Box 8181
Hillsborough, N.C. 27278
Dear Sirs,
I write regarding tract # 713637.
that I have complained for years
the tax valuation has been too high give r(the allowed use
of this parcel of land. Several weeks ago Mr. John Smith
finally discovered the error that I knew existed for almost
two decades.
The error being, that the information on the Final Plat for
Laurel Hill section 111 was not transposed on all the other
documents which were created fromrh.e original Final Plat map.
The words "Property of the Town of Chapel Hill" were Omitted.
Therefore, I contend that is has been a clerical error
and that the appraisers office did not have the correct in-
fromation in their files and thereby made an over valuation
of the property. In other word4 the value was not adjustted
due to a change in/va-lue judgement but rather wad changed due
to misplaced information being rediscovered.
The property will have a tax value of $1.00 the future.
However I believe that a refund is due me
years allowed by law due for the number of
mation to the fact that all of the infor-
was not transposed correctly from the the Final Plat
as I recorded it.
Thank you for hearing this ma,:ter.
Enclosures
cc %Mr. Lloyd
9 7 - ?I
3
 29 .2. 2
Sincerely,
k 1i Wlam L. t4Zf
Private Plan- Collections at Chapel Hill
