BOARD COMMENTS <br />33 Commissioner Halkiotis asked about the cost of mailing the <br />34 "Report to the People" to every citizen in the County instead of <br />35 inserting it in the Chapel Hill Herald and the News of Orange. John <br />36 Link indicated it would have cost $9,000 to mail the report to every <br />37 ---- taxpayer. By inserting it in the newspapers, it cost about $1200. A <br />38 total of 40,000 will be distributed. <br />39 _ _ .Chair- Carey referred to the letter-of commenda_ti.Qn from Sheriff <br />40°- Pendergrass- a -th-e -new -Fire Marshall, Mike-Tapp. He­commenvded - there <br />41 Marshall for his fast response to the Sheriff's request.
