VVIO1100RE
V181144
M M I ff V
plat be submitted with the Final Plat
application. This number would be sufficient in
most cases. Additional copies could be requested
if needed. The cost to the applicant of
supplying additional copies of the plat would not
exceed one (1) dollar per copy, according to two
local surveyors.
The amendment was presented for public hearing on
August 30, 1990. There were no comments.
The Planning Department recommends approval of
the proposed amendment.
Waddell expressed concern with the additional
charge to the applicant and asked if the
applicant could pay the additional $1.00 per copy
to the Planning Staff for them to make the
additional copies.
Scearbo responded that the copies are made from a
mylar which may not be in the hands of the
Planning Staff and copies of the plats cannot be
reproduced on a copier.
Steve Yuhasz, local surveyor, indicated that the
initial copy is the one which actually costs the
applicant. Any additional copies are very
nominal.
Waddell again noted that he was apposed to
additional charges for the applicant.
Scearbo stated that as regulations are developed
and more and better services are provided for th(
applicants, the information needed to provide
those services must be secured.
Hamilton moved approval as recommended by the
Planning Staff. Seconded by Reid-
7 in favor.
1 opposed (Waddell - opposed to any cost increase
for the applicant).
d. Private Road Standards
Presentation by Mary Scearbo.
This item is to consider a proposed amendment to
consider traffic impacts of efficiency apartment
and duplexes in determining the private road
classification required for subdivision approval
and eliminate approval of Class A roads for mino
