EN <br />Section 9. Removal of Prohibitions and Restrictions <br />The Chair or Board shall by proclamation terminate the <br />entire declaration of emergency or remove any of the <br />Prohibitions and restrictions when the emergency no longer <br />requires them. <br />Section 10. Superseding and Amendatory Proclamations <br />The Chair or Board in its discretion may invoke the <br />restrictions authorized by this ordinance in separate <br />Proclamations, and may amend any proclamation by means of a <br />superseding proclamation in accordance with the procedures <br />set forth in Section 2. <br />Section 11. Termination of Proclamation <br />Any proclamation issued under this ordinance shall <br />expire five days after its last imposition unless sooner <br />term.inated.in writing under the same procedures set forth in <br />Section 2 for proclamations. <br />Section 12. In Case of Absence or Disability of <br />The Chair <br />In case of the absence or disability of the Chair, the <br />vice Chair shall perform the functions of the Chair. In case <br />of the absence of the Chair and vice Chair, the board in <br />emergency sessions shall perform the functions of the Chair <br />and shall have and exercise all of the powers herein given <br />the Chair. The Emergency Management Director or his <br />Assistants shall have the authority to invoke Section 3 of <br />this Ordinance when the Chair or Board cannot be reached and <br />cannot act in time to take actions necessary to preserve <br />life, safety and property. <br />Section 13. Penalty for Violation <br />Except as provided in section 6, any person violating <br />any prohibition.or. restriction imposed by a proclamation <br />.authorized by this ordinance.shall be guilty of a <br />:misdemeanor,.punishable-upon conviction by a.fine not <br />exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisonment not <br />exceeding 30 days, as provided by G.S. 14 -4. <br />33 <br />
