He feels this may have some potential for Orar <br />18 County roads and requested that the staff give a brief update on t <br />19 potential this may have on Orange County roads. <br />20 Commissioner Hartwell stated that when the Aging Board increas <br />21 their rent to the ArtsCenter, it caused some doubts as to the securi <br />22 of maintaining the Senior Center at this location. He asked th <br />23 Chairman Carey assure the Chair of the Aging Board, Mr. Murdock, th <br />24 there is no reason to think this center will not continue. COUNTY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />John Link commended the Child Enforcement Program "KIDS ". <br />described the proj..ect and indicated it was a joint effort that took ma: <br />months of hard work to implement. A total of 350 delinquent paren <br />were noticed to be in court or make payments. Everyone worked togeth, <br />and Monday 150 cases were heard. The majority of the other 200 cas, <br />made arrangements to stay out of court. On Monday, $17,000 in past -di <br />support payments were collected. This is the first time a project li: <br />this has been conducted in North Carolina. He again commended th. <br />effort and Janet Sparks and her staff. <br />III.
