Division <br />of Aging (NCDOA) in preparing a State Aging Plan which is required by the <br />N.C. General Assembly in March, 1991. Specifically, the County was <br />requested to administer two surveys: (1) A "County Service Priorities <br />and Issue Identification" survey which identifies priority services, <br />issues, and unmet needs to be addressed in the state plan for the frail <br />elderly in the home or community setting. and (2) a. "Supplemental <br />Resource" survey which inventory the private and public funds being <br />provided on behalf of the frail elderly. The HSMT's Aging Plan Technical <br />Committee and the County Aging Director were responsible for carrying out <br />the process, submit the results to the County Commissioners for <br />certification before forwarding them on to TJCOG and the N.C. Division of <br />Aging. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Receive as information and certify receipt. <br />
