4 <br />Section 4. Every map (including a map incorporated by reference in a <br />deed), subdivision plat, or land survey plot that creates or <br />more fully defines one or more parcels of land must have a <br />parcel identifier number written on it before it can be <br />registered. This requirement shall not apply to flood plain <br />maps, annexation and municipal boundary maps, and similar <br />maps -prepared by governmental agencies. <br />Section 5. All instruments pertaining to the same parcel or to related <br />parcels sliall be assigned parcel identifier numbers and <br />processed according to the date and time when they were <br />presented to the Land Records Office. <br />Section 6. (a) Any deed, deed <br />of trust, map or <br />plat, or <br />other instrument <br />that contains a :description <br />of a <br />parcel <br />or parcels .not <br />previously plotted on the county large -scale cadastral maps <br />and for which a parcel identifier number does not exist must <br />contain a description of the parcel or parcels of sufficient <br />accuracy and detail that the Land Records Office is able to <br />locate and plot the parcel or parcels on the county maps <br />from the description standing alone, or with the aid of <br />supporting maps or other documents furnished by the person <br />presenting the instrument. <br />(b) The description contained in any map or plat that is to <br />-2- <br />0 <br />
