5. The Social Services Social Worker I shall work <br />cooperatively with the hospital staff and the social work <br />staff of any Department of Social Services to make <br />appropriate referrals of patients and family members with <br />problems not related to eligibility determinations. <br />6. As an employee of Orange County, the Social Worker I <br />shall be directly supervised by and accountable to OCDSS. <br />Due to the nature of this agreement and the working <br />relationship with the hospital, it is necessary that close <br />contact be kept with the hospital administration and certain <br />members of the hospital medical staff. In recognition of <br />this factor, the Director of Fiscal Services of the Hospital <br />will name a staff member to act as liaison between the Social <br />Worker I, the departments of the hospital and other other <br />staff personnel. Changes in duties and /or basis of financial <br />participation may be made after prior written approval and <br />agreement between the Hospital, t he Department of <br />Obstetrics and Gynecology and Orange County Department of <br />Social Services. Any changes in this agreement to add <br />personnel will require the approval of the Orange County <br />Board of Social Services and County Commissioners. <br />7.
