The County Attorney will provide <br />an overview and give a brief background on the following ordinances for discussion: <br /> <br />• Unified Development Ordinance <br />o Conditional Use Districts – Update <br />o Number of Land Uses – Update <br />o Major Subdivisions – Update <br /> <br />• Code of Ordinances <br />o Chapter 1; General Penalties – Request Direction <br />o Chapter 4; Animal Control – Update-Amendment forthcoming <br />o Chapter 6; Insulation Contractors – Repeal recommended <br />o Chapter 10; Cable Communications – Removal from Code recommended <br />o Chapter 16; Noise – Request Direction <br />o Chapter 18; Skateboarding, Animals – Repeal recommended <br />o Chapter 24; Exposure of the Female Body – Repeal recommended <br />o Chapter 34; Solid Waste Management – Update <br /> <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact associated <br />with this item. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board discuss the various ordinances <br />and provide direction to staff. <br />1
