It is taught in <br />more than 100,000 classrooms in 49 states. In Orange <br />County, D.A.R.E. is a partnership between the Orange <br />County Sheriff's Department, the Orange County School <br />Board and the private sector. <br />RECOMMENDATION: In consideration of September 13 as National D.A.R.E <br />day, the Manager recommends that the Orange County <br />Commissioners adopt the attached proclamation as <br />recognition of the D.A.R.E. program in orange County. <br />
