2 <br />When confronted with the increase in fees, County staff began <br />investigating the possibility of contracting with the Orange County <br />Health Department and others for some of the services, thereby reducing <br />the over cost. However, considerable time must be spent to put <br />together 'a medical package that will accomplish the budgetary goal and <br />still meet our statutory requirements. Alternatives along these lines <br />will be pursued for the 1991 renewal. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a contract with Orange Family Medical Group, <br />P.A. through June 30, 1991 for a sum of $1,000 per month; and authorize <br />the Chair to sign on behalf of the Board. <br />
