1Jb <br />to Old NC 86 beginning at the DOT Maintenance Complex and <br />extending southward to include Oakdale Drive, and ending <br />at Davis Road. <br />Route 3 Hillsborough begins at Davis Road and moves south <br />on Old NC 86 to New Hope Church Road; then west on Arthur <br />Minnis Road, south on Union Grove Church Road Road, west <br />on Albert and Dairyland Roads to Orange Grove Road; then <br />south to include Teer Road, returning northward along <br />Orange Grove Road and eastward along Davis Road to the <br />beginning point. Other roads included in part or in their <br />entirety include: Ode Turner Road, Tree Farm Road, Kimbro <br />Road, Borland Road, Rocky Ridge Road, Buckhorn Road, and <br />Dodson's Crossroads North and South. <br />Route 1 Cedar Grove encompasses an area north along <br />Wilkerson Road from NC 57 to Person County, including <br />portions of Sawmill Road East and West, Hawkins Road East <br />and West, Ormond Road, and Olin Road; then southwest along <br />Hurdle Mills Road, across NC 86 North to McDade Store <br />Road, and south along Efland -Cedar Grove Road .to Highland <br />Farm Road; then west from Cedar Grove Community along Carr <br />Store Road to Carr Community and eastward along NC 49 to <br />Caswell County. Roads included in their entirety or <br />portions thereof are: Wheeler's Church Road, Caviness <br />Jordan Road, Art Road, Bama Road, Hensley Road, Allison <br />Road, Burton Road,, NC 86 North, Tom Pope Loop, McCullough <br />Road, Oakley Road, Lee's Chapel Road, Governor Scott Road, <br />Mill Creek Road, Lonesome Road, Lib Road, Penecost Road, <br />Allie Mae Road, Doc Corbett Road, Wade Loop and Wade's <br />Dead End. <br />General Statute 153A -240 requires that a Public Hearing be <br />held on the proposed house and building numbers to be <br />assigned. Notices have been sent to all affected <br />residents and posted in two other public places within <br />each proposed area. <br />A Planning Board recommendation is not required on the <br />proposed house and building numbers, and the Commissioners <br />may approve the assigned numbers following the conclusion <br />of the hearing. <br />REC01r MNDA- <br />TION: Approval of the proposed house and building numbers, <br />followed by notification of the Hillsborough Postmaster, <br />the Cedar Grove Postmaster and the N.C. Department of <br />Transportation, as required by G.S. 153A -240. <br />
