As with any renovation project however, problems <br />arise which could not have been anticipated in the initial <br />evaluation. The result is additional work which necessitates <br />a change order. <br />Change Orders #1, #2, and #3 all deal with miscellaneous <br />items incidental to the project. Each item covered by the <br />change order is outlined on the letter from the Architect. <br />Change orders #1, #2 and #3 total $5,351. <br />Our Architect and Electrical Engineer for this project have <br />verified the comments made by Mr. Edwards (Autonomic Systems, <br />Inc.) in his July 6, 1990 correspondence regarding the <br />condition of the fire alarms in the Jail. It does indeed <br />appear to be more economical for us to entirely replace <br />certain sections rather than attempting to retrofit the <br />existing system. Since this is such a high potential <br />
