At that time, the Board <br />approved the program "in concept" and decided to <br />approve necessary positions during the year as the <br />need for them arose. The Department of Social <br />Services is ready to implement the JOBS program as <br />soon as possible. This amendment will increase the <br />JOBS budget with the acceptance of the State grant <br />and authorize the following positions: Social Work <br />Supervisor and Accounting Technician effective <br />September 1, 1990; 2 Social Workers and a Clerk <br />Typist on October 1, 1990. Additional County funds <br />are not necessary since the required County match for <br />this program was approved during the 1990 -91 budget <br />process. <br />(2) The Orange County Department on Aging has received <br />additional ACTION grant funding to be used for <br />administrative expenses in the RSVP program. <br />No County match is required for this additional <br />funding. <br />
