TRAFFIC IMPACT STUDY <br />Purpose <br />A traffic impact study shall be required of zoning changes, <br />special use permits, and site plans as defined in this Articl <br />The study will enable Orange County to assess the impact of a <br />proposed zoning change, special use permit, or development on <br />the highway system when that system is at or near capacity or <br />safety problem exists. Its purpose is to insure that propose <br />developments do not adversely affect the highway network and <br />identify any traffic problems associated with access from the <br />site to the existing transportation network. The purpose of <br />study is also to identify solutions to potential problems and <br />present improvements to be incorporated into the proposed <br />development. <br />Conduct <br />a <br />U <br />he <br />to <br />A traffic impact study shall be prepared by a qualified <br />professional . traffic engineer and /or certified transportation <br />planner with previous traffic study experience.
