page <br />MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AND <br />ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING BOARD <br />JOINT PUBLIC HEARING <br />MAY 16, 1990 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in joint-session wi <br />the Orange County Planning Board on May 16, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. in <br />Superior Courtroom, Hillsborough, North Carolina. The purpose of the <br />meeting was to receive comments on the proposed Orange County <br />Thoroughfare Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Regulations, and <br />Private Road Standards for Orange County, North Carolina. <br />BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Moses Carey, Jr., and Commissione <br />Stephen Halkiotis, John Hartwell and Shirley E. Marshall. <br />BOARD MEMBER ABSENT: Don Willhoit <br />PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairperson Betty Eidenier, <br />Chris Best, Barry Jacobs, William J. Waddell, Dan C. Eddleman, Mike <br />Lewis, Jean Hamilton, Virginia Boland, Carol Cantrell, and Larry Reid. <br />COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager John M.
