He further stated that the only thing mentioned about the Lottie Mayse property was that it was next door to the Delbert Mayse property. Mr. Lloyd also pointed out that the Bennett property had been initially reduced because of evidence that was considered at face value, but when the appeals of the other similar properties were filed, further review indicated an adjustment was warranted to increase the value to its,:current appraisal. Mr. Barrett then reviewed with Mr. Waldon some of the implications of the Land -Use Plan concerning development of areas with steep slopes. Mr. Barrett closed by pointing out that he had given the Board evidence on value for these properties as indicated in his document to the Board. And secondly, that if you adhere to the guidelines of the Town of Chapel Hill their intent is to reduce the development potential of land. Having no other business to consider, Shirley Marshall made the motion to adjourn the 1990 session of the Board of Equalization and Review and Mr. Hartwell seconded the motion. The Board voted all in favor of accepting the motion.
