This <br />person /organization will be allowed sufficient time tc <br />present the case and will be requested to answ z <br />questions. <br />d) Futher appeal must be made directly to the COG Board of <br />Delegates by making a written request to the Chaim-man <br />of "-he Board stating the specific nature of the <br />complaint. The Chairman will advise the <br />person/ organization filing the complaint of the date <br />and time that he is scheduled to appear before the <br />Board of Directors. Sufficient time will be allow d <br />for presentation of the complaint and the <br />person /organization will be requested to answ r <br />questions. The COG Board of Delegates will render a <br />decision regarding the complaint within thirty da s <br />following the hearing. <br />e) Futher appeal must be made to the Concerned Funding <br />Agency anal must be in written form stating the specific <br />nature of the complaint with a copy sent to the COG <br />Executive Director. The agency has 30 days from the <br />date of the adverse decision by the COG Board of <br />Delegates to file an appeal with the Concerned Funding <br />Agency. The Concerned Funding Agency will inform the <br />person /organization filing the complaint of its appeals <br />Drocedures and will inform the COG that a complaint has <br />been filed. In all case 3, <br />every effort will be made to allow reasonable time f r <br />sufficient preparation of the appeal. <br />33. Termination of the Contract for Cause. If (a), the Age n y <br />shall fail to fulfill in a timely and proper manner its <br />obligations under this Contract; or if the Agency shall <br />violate any of the covenants, agreements, representations or <br />stipulations of this contract; or if services do not met <br />standards as set forth by N.C. Division of Aging; or if for <br />nutrition service specifically, meals fail to follow the <br />approved program menu and meet reasonable standards of <br />nutrition, sanitation and palatability as determined by COG, <br />COG shall thereupon have the right to terminate immediately <br />this Contract by giving written notice to the Agency of such <br />
