employment, without regard to their race, color, <br />religion, sex, age, or, national origin. Such action <br />shall include, but not be limited to the following: <br />employment, upgrading, demotions, or transfers; <br />recruitment or recruitment advertising; lavoffs <br />terminations; rates of pay or other forms of <br />compensation; selection for training, including <br />apprenticeship; and participation in recreational and <br />educational activities. The Agency certifies that it <br />presently has in effect such an affirmative action <br />program which specifies goals, and target dates to <br />assure the implementation of such plan. The Agency <br />agrees to post in a conspicuous place available 4.0 <br />employees and applicants for employment, notices <br />setting forth the provisions of this non-discrimination <br />clause. The Agency shall in all solicitations or <br />advertisements for subcontractors or employees placed <br />by or on behalf of the Agency, state that the Agency is <br />an "Equal Opportunity Employer." The Agency shall make <br />no distinction because of race, color, handicap, <br />religion, sex, or national origin in providing to <br />eligible individuals any services or other benefits <br />under projects financed in whole or in part with Older <br />Americans Act funds. (This provision excludes age <br />since the Older Americans Act serves only older persons <br />by design and by law.) The Agency shall keep such <br />records and submit such reports concerning <br />characteristics of applicants for employment arid <br />employees as the COG and the Concerned Funding Agency <br />may require. The Agency agrees to comply with such <br />guidelines as the COG or the Concerned Funding Agency <br />may issue to implement the requirements of this <br />paragraph. <br />The Agency will cause the foregoing provisions to be <br />inserted in all subcontracts for any work covered by <br />this Contract so that such provisions will be binding <br />upon each subcontractor with the understanding that the <br />foregoing provisions shall not apply to subcontracts <br />for less than $10,000.00. <br />(b) The Agency shall keep such records and submit such <br />reports concerning the racial and ethnic origin of <br />applicants for employment and employees as COG or the <br />Concerned Funding Agency may require. <br />(c) The Agency agrees to comply with such rule , <br />regulations or guidelines as COG or the Concern d <br />Funding Agency may require. <br />27. Changes. COG may require changes in the work and services <br />which the Agency is to perform hereunder. Such changes, <br />including any increase or decrease in the amount of the <br />Agency's compensation which are mutually agreed upon by arid <br />between COG and the Agency, shall be incorporated in written <br />amendments to this contract. <br />
