A. _ <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />COUNTY OF WAKE <br />NONURBANIZED AREA <br />PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION <br />GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ) WORK ORDER 9.9043229 <br />and ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />PROJECT NO. 90 -18 -044 <br />THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT entered into this the &_ day of <br />19fp by and between the COUNTY OF ORANGE (hereinafter referred to as the <br />"Contractor ") , and the NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Department "), witnesseth that: <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor heretofore entered into an agreement with the <br />Department to secure and utilize grant funds for financing a nonurbanized <br />area public transportation capital project, said agreement dated <br />February 2, 1990 and being hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement "; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor and the Department find that it is necessary to <br />revise the Project Agreement in order to carry out the Project. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Department has determined pursuant to Section 22 of <br />the Agreement that the Agreement be revised as follows: <br />(1) That language appearing in Section 5 of the agreement and reading <br />as follows: <br />"Section 5. Cost of Project. The total cost of the Project, <br />approved by the Department and UMTA, is FIFTY -FOUR THOUSAND, SEVENTY -FIVE <br />DOLLARS ($54,075) as set forth by Appendix A, Project Description and <br />Budget. <br />
