6 <br />Sec. 11. Soat�: <br />(a) Except in specially - designated areas, boating is <br />prohibited on recreational premises. <br />(b) where boating is permitted, a permit must first be <br />obtained from the Director. The application process and <br />fee for a boating permit shall be determined by the <br />Director. <br />(c) In addition to obtaining the permit required by <br />subsection (b) of this section, anyone lawfully boating <br />on recreational premises shall comply with the boating <br />safety regulations contained in Chapter 75A of the North <br />Carolina General Statutes. <br />Sec. 12. Fires: <br />(a) No person may ignite a fire on recreational premises, <br />except in areas authorized for picnicking, and then only <br />in grills or ovens designed for food preparation. <br />(b) Fires shall never be left unattended. <br />(c) No person shall dump any ashes or coals into a refuse <br />receptacle on recreational premises unless no live embers <br />remain in such ashes and all coals have been completely <br />extinguished. <br />(d) No person who ignites a fire on recreational premises <br />shall leave the recreational premises until the fire has <br />been completely extinguished. <br />P <br />
