The existing procedural requirements are <br />appropriate for initial franchising of the entire County and <br />perhaps renewals of all County franchises, but are not really <br />meaningful for an area franchise awarded because the current <br />County cable franchises cannot reasonably serve these areas. <br />To be adopted on the first reading, this ordinance will have <br />to be approved unanimously by the Board. Please note the <br />findings necessary by the Board in highlighted area of the <br />Amendment. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve the Cable TV Ordinance Amendment. <br />
