Smites <br />- Preliminary Plan <br />DATE: June 26, 1990 <br />The standards contained in the Subdivision Regulations <br />pertaining to public and private roads are listed below. The <br />Planning Staff comment regarding each is provided in italics. <br />IV-B-3 -d -1, Roads - Public roads are generally required in <br />all subdivisions and will be required where it <br />is found that: <br />1. The subdivision roads, if constructed •zo <br />State standards, would be accepted by the <br />State for maintenance due to density or <br />other State requirement; or <br />(According to the Department of Transporta- <br />tion, a road .less than one mile in length <br />must provide ingress and egress for at leas. <br />5 occupied permanent residences, or t.ue <br />equivalent of 50 trips per day, before it may <br />be accepted by the State for miaintenance. <br />Simmons Lane currently provides access for <br />five residences; however, 3 of those are <br />mobile homes and 3 have access to Simmons <br />Lane by a ten -foot access easement.
