Preliminary Plats <br />(1) Cornwallis Hills - Time Extension <br />Mary Scearbo asked that this item be deleted from <br />the agenda. Discussions with the County Attorney <br />indicated that the new procedures under which a <br />project may be granted a time extension must be <br />addressed. Since the subdivision was approved <br />before the new procedures were enacted, there was <br />a question of their applicability to this <br />project. <br />The applicant's engineer has been made aware of <br />the situation and will provide additional <br />information at a later date. <br />AGENDA ITEM #10: MATTERS HEARD AT PUBLIC HEARING (5/29/90) <br />a. Zoning.Ordinance Text Amendments <br />(1) University Lake Watershed Protection <br />(a) Article 6.15.2 Interim Development <br />Standards Approved <br />(b) Article 6.25.7 Water Supply /Sewage <br />Disposal Facilities Required <br />MOTION: Burklin moved approval of the proposed <br />amendments. Seconded by Eddleman. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. <br />(2 ) Definitions <br />mmmilop. (a) Article 22 Efficiency Apartment <br />Mary Scearbo noted that there were no <br />comments on this proposed amendment <br />at the public hearing. One letter was <br />received by the Planning Department and <br />entered into the public record. :The letter <br />expressed overall support of the amendment <br />but suggested that a maximum of 800 square <br />feet be allowed for all efficiency apartments <br />to accommodate the handicapped. <br />Contacts with the Department of Insurance <br />have indicated that an area of 750 to 800 <br />square feet is necessary for a handicapped <br />-0 <br />6 <br />
