As this Commission has never <br />been at full capacity, the membership feels this is necessary in order to <br />effectively operate. All of the seats which would be eliminated are At- <br />Large positions. <br />It is hereby recommended to the orange County Board of Commissioners for <br />approval that the Orange County Human Relations Commission be reduced in <br />its size from twenty three (23) seats down to eighteen (18) seats. It is <br />further proposed that, upon approval by the Board of County Commissioners, <br />the by -laws would automatically be amended to reflect this change by <br />reducing the number of members needed for a quorum to ten (10). <br />BACKGROUND: <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve change in By -Laws for Human Relations <br />Commission. <br />
