2 <br />Chapel Hill and Carrboro to help ArtsCenter retain its <br />vitality during reorganization, it is proposed that <br />the $3,000 lump sum rent adjustment be assigned by <br />ArtsCenter to Main Street Partners to be applied by <br />Main Street to ArtCenter's July, August and September <br />rent. <br />Funds needed to cover the additional costs proposed <br />are included in the Buildings and Rent budget, <br />therefore, no additional funds or budget amendments <br />are necessary. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve amendment of the existing lease with <br />ArtsCenter, authorize Chair to sign the amended <br />lease, and direct County staff to begin long -term <br />lease negotiations for Senior Center space. <br />..1 <br />
