Concerns which have been <br />set out in more detail are: prohibition from accepting <br />animals which originate outside Orange County; reporting and <br />financial requirements; and access to the shelter by County <br />personnel. Other concerns regarding shelter operations were <br />not specifically addressed in the contract. County staff and <br />shelter staff will pursue the development a Procedures Manual <br />for the Shelter which will be referenced in the contract. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve Contract with APS for Animal Shelter <br />operations. <br />
