Churches and synagogues in Orange County are being asked <br />to ring their bells at noon on Sunday, August 26th. The <br />ringing of the bells will celebrate the passage of the <br />Nineteenth Amendment. <br />2. Special voter registration will be offered in Northern and <br />Southern Orange County on Saturday, August 25, 1990. <br />3. A brief history of women's rights in North Carolina will <br />be distributed at the special voter registration loca- <br />tions. <br />4. A workshop will be held for Orange County employees on <br />Wednesday, August 15th, noon to 1:30 p.m., at the Public <br />Works Administration Building. <br />5. The video, "How We Got the Vote," will be offered for <br />showing at the public libraries during the month of <br />August. <br />6.
