The total time and cost involved <br />in the subdivision approval process significantly <br />increase when new roads are required. <br />The proposed amendment would allow a flag lot to be <br />created if a road easement would not be used for access to <br />any other lot and any future extension of the road would <br />be unlikely. <br />The proposal was presented for public hearing on May 29, <br />1990. There were no comments. <br />The Planning Board considered the proposed amendment on <br />June 18, 1990 and recommended approval. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed <br />amendment. <br />
