The total <br />amount collected for 1989 -90 is $3,650. The attached <br />amendment will add this amount as revenue along with <br />increasing the expenditure line. <br />(2) The Orange County Department of Social Services has <br />received a reallocation of Low Income Energy <br />Assistance funds from the State. These funds total <br />$1,370 and no additional County match is required. <br />(3) Remaining in the 1989 -9.0 Non - departmental budget <br />is $10,000 in the Affordable Housing line item. At <br />the June 14, 1990 special meeting, the Board of <br />Commissioners directed that these funds be made <br />available to Orange Community Housing. <br />(4) The 1989 -90 approved budget included, in the <br />Miscellaneous appropriation, an allocation for <br />implementation of the employee merit pay system. This <br />amendment will appropriate necessary merit funds to <br />the individual departments. <br />
