S.5; <br />SECTION 8 PROGRAM BLOCK GRANT <br />GRANT PROJECT ORDINANCE <br />Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners that pursuant to <br />Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North <br />Carolina, the following capital project is hereby adopted. <br />Section I. The project authorized is the Housing Authority <br />project as described in the work statement <br />contained in the grant agreements NC- 19- K104001, <br />NC- 19- V104001 -002 and NC- 19- E104001 -008 between <br />this unit and the U.S. Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development. This project is more <br />familiarly known as the 1990 -91 Section 8 <br />Project. <br />Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to <br />proceed with the grant project within the grant <br />document, the rules and regulations of the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />and the budget contained herein. <br />Section 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be <br />available to complete this project: <br />Intergovernmental: <br />Existing $1,672,919 <br />Moderate Rehab 387,414 <br />Voucher 356,063 <br />Total Revenue $2,416,396 <br />Section 4. The following amounts are appropriated for this <br />project: <br />Rental Assistance: <br />Existing <br />$1,510,416 <br />Moderate Rehab <br />342,240 <br />Voucher <br />325,344 <br />Administration: <br />Existing <br />162,503 <br />Moderate Rehab <br />45,174 <br />Voucher <br />30,719 <br />Total Appropriations $2,416,396 <br />
