ORANGE COUNTY C.A.T. PROGRAM <br />AGENCY PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT <br />This agreement entered into this 1 day of July , 1990 by <br />and between the County of Orange on behalf of the Department on Aging, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "County" and Joint Orange -Chatham <br />_Community, Action, Inc _ �. _ —� <br />hereinafter referred to as JOCCA <br />The purpose of this agreement is <br />der which the County who administers <br />Transportation) Program and JOCCA <br />cooperatively provide human service transportation to Orange County's <br />elderly, infirmed, and disavantaged as a participating member of the <br />C.A.T. Program. <br />to outline the conditions un- <br />the C.A.T. (Coordinated Agency <br />will <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY <br />1. To assign professional staff within the Department on Aging <br />to administer and coordnate the C.A.T. Program. <br />2. To monitor CAT Two -Way Radios installed in participating <br />agency vehicles. <br />3. To arrange county bulk gas purchases for agency CAT vehicles. <br />4. To provide short term backup loan vehicle for Agency CAT <br />vehicles temporarily out of service. <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOCCA <br />1. To operate and schedule the use of participating C.A.T. agency <br />vehicle(s) on behalf of human service clients and approved groups, <br />according to the Orange County Transportation Board policy and <br />procedures. <br />2. To allow C.A.T. Program agencies access (time /ridesharing) to <br />assigned vehicle(s) where appropriate and not scheduled for use <br />at a rate established by the Orange County Transportation Board <br />and approved by the County Commissioners. <br />3. To complete all required vehicle operation reports and submit <br />to the Orange County C.A.T.
