Jackie Hansen stated she has lived in Chapel Hill since 1987. She <br />feels she has had many violations against her and asked for County assistance <br />in addressing the inequity of services she has experienced. <br />Commissioner Halkiotis asked that the County Manager meet with Ms. <br />Hansen to further discuss the situation. <br />PUBLIC CHARGE <br />Vice -Chair Halkiotis read the public charge. <br />V. ITEMS FOR DECISION = 1CONSENT AGENDA <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Marshall to approve the items on the Consent Agenda as listed below: <br />A. REVISION OF T HE PERSONNEL ORDINANCE <br />To approve the revisions to Article I, section 4.16 and Article <br />11, Section 3.0, to delete Sections 8.11 through 8.14 of Article III of the <br />Personnel Ordinance and insert new Sexual Harassment Policy as Section 2.0 of <br />Article II, thereby renumbering all following sections of Article II. <br />B. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SIGNATURES ON FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS <br />To adopt the resolution stated below authorizing Rod Visser and <br />John Link to sign county financial instruments. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RODERICK VISSER AND JOHN M. LINK, JR. <br />TO SIGN AND PRE -AUDIT ALL COUNTY <br />FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS <br />WHEREAS, Ellen G. Liston has resigned, effective June 30, 1990, and will no <br />longer be authorized to sign County financial instruments. <br />WHEREAS, The County needs other authorized persons to sign and pre -audit <br />it's financial instruments in the absence of the Finance Director. <br />WHEREAS, G.S. 159 -28a of the North Carolina General Statutes permits County <br />Officials to perform the signature and pre -audit functions only if <br />designated as Deputy Finance Officer by the governing board. <br />WHEREAS, Appropriate bonding is in place to cover the County Officials <br />being recommended for signatory authority. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Roderick Visser and John M. Link, Jr. be <br />Designated as Deputy Finance Officers and authorized to sign and pre -audit <br />all County financial instruments. <br />This the 26th day of June, 1990. <br />C_ BUDGET ORDINANCE AMENDMENT A15 <br />To approve amendments to the 1989 -90 Budget Ordinance by the <br />proposed amendments stated below: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Source - Charges for Services $ 3,080 <br />
