Duke has still not presented any comments about the proposed trails on their property. She continued that she felt on the issue of compensation that the trails be voluntary and that the term voluntary should be in the draft plan. She felt compensation would be different in each jurisdiction. Crudup stated that she did express to the committee that it should address the assumption that trails will be appropriate everywhere. She stated that the preliminary plan she had seen did indicate some wildlife preserve areas and footpaths. She asked that the Planning Board further express the County's concerns at the public meeting /hearing that trails are not appropriate eVSh anr preservation of wildlife. She notedthat the next scheduled meeting is June 21. Hamilton indicated she would be out of town for the June 21 meeting and asked that someone attend in her place.
