ORANGE COUNTY C.A.T. PROGRAM VEHICLE LEASE AGREEMENT 3 This agreement entered into this 1st day of July, 1990 by and between the COUNTY OF reinafter the COUNTY and ORANGE s O.E. The purpose of this agreement is to outline the conditionsu under which the COUNTY OF ORANGE and O.E. will cooperatively infirmed, and service transportation to Orange County disadvantaged as a participating member of the C.A.T. (Coordinated Agency Transportation) system. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE 1. To lease the following identified vehicles or similar size at the hours specified: 1984 InterBus (24 pass)- CAT# 1, 6 -8am, 3 :30- 6:0030_6:OOpm 1985 Chev. Bus (24 pass. /lift)- CAT# 5, 6 -8am, 1984 Dodge Van (15 pass. /lift)- CAT# 11, 6 -8am, 3:30- 6:00pm 2. insurance, fuel, maintenance repairs and To provide all replacement for each leased vehicle. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE ENTERPRISES, INC. 1. To reimburse Orange County at the per mile rate of $.35 for a van and $.55 per mile for a mini -bus due 30 days after billling. 2. Thp agreed upon emergency procedures will be as follows: Two -way radios will be installed Pinv each ofvehicle wi h the base located at the Department a Ag g In case of a medical emergency, the driver will radio to base for help. emergency, the driver will first radio to 911 for aid and then to the base. Base operator will be responsible for contacting Orange Enterprises, Inc. At no time will the driver leave riders unattended. The term of this contract shall be from July 1, 1990 through June 30, 1991, unless sooner terminated by either party giving 30 days prior written notice to the other party of intention to terminate. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, COUNTY OF ORANGE and ORANGE ENTERPRISES, INC. have executed the Agreement of the date first above written.
