These actions are being undertaken to improve <br />efficiency, improve aesthetics and reduce operating <br />cost. The site to be purchased is two acres which <br />will leave room for expansion in a rapidly growing <br />area of the County. <br />BACKGROUND: The purchase of property will bring long term <br />stability to the Solid Waste Collection Sites. If we <br />are able to purchase this property, it will be the <br />second acquisition of property for consolidated sites. <br />Funds are available in the County Capital Reserve <br />Fund. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Make offer to purchase and authorize Chair to sign. <br />
