county for 10 percent of the salary and benefits of a full time 3 <br />supervisor. Salary and benefits for the Income Maintenance <br />Caseworkers and the supervisor include: base salary under State <br />Personnel Regulations; FICA taxes; Local government retirement; paid <br />vacation, sick leave, or other leave under approved county plan; paid <br />holidays as observed by county; paid petty leave of 14 hours per year; <br />necessary travel and per diem for job related activities; county paid <br />insurance (health and dental). UNCH further agrees to pay the county <br />share of any expense resulting from other requirements mutually <br />agreed upon by OCDSS and UNCH. <br />3. Other supportive services provided by OCDSS without <br />additional charge to UNCH include continuing training of Income <br />Maintenance Caseworkers and consultation with other counties in the <br />catchment area about applications for pre —and post — discharge patients. <br />4. Other supportive services provided by UNCH without charge to <br />OCDSS include: office space; parking space; office equipment; <br />clerical support; and telephone service. <br />5. The Income Maintenance Caseworkers shall receive all <br />potential medical assistance applications originating at UNCH. <br />Specifically, the Income Maintenance Caseworker shall perform intake <br />functions only, consisting of the following: conducting interviews <br />that initiate an application; obtaining signatures; and obtaining <br />documentation available at the time of interview. <br />6. The Income Maintenance Caseworkers shall be assisted by UNCH <br />staff in obtaining information and documentation required to complete <br />eligibility determinations on applications taken. <br />7. The Social Services Income Maintenance Caseworkers shall work <br />cooperatively with UNCH staff and the staff of any Department of <br />
