We now <br />have approximately 350 greenboxes in 23 sites. Each of these site <br />requires four to thirty greenboxes. Funds were appropriated in the <br />1989 -90 budget will allow for the purchase of 70 containers. These <br />containers will be located at four proposed sites and will be used <br />to replace some worn out rusting containers. <br />Bids were solicited from seventeen vendors with five vendors <br />submitting responsive bids. The low bid meets specifications and <br />is recommended for award. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Award bid to Nu -Life Environmental, Inc., Easley, S.C., at a <br />unit cost of $383.45. <br />
