(q) In Article 2 amend paragraph 2.6.2 to read: "The Architect <br />shall review and approve or take other appropriate action upon <br />the Prime Contractors' submittals, including such things as <br />shop drawings, product data and samples. Such action shall <br />be taken with reasonable promptness so as to cause no delay <br />in the progress of the work. The Architect's approval of a <br />specific item shall not release the contractors from providing <br />materials conforming to his contract unless overtly changed <br />in writing by both parties. <br />(r) At the end of Article 2 add the following additional <br />paragraphs: <br />112.6.20 The Architect shall provide services to <br />investigate existing conditions or facilities or to make <br />measured drawings thereof, or to verify the accuracy of <br />drawings or other information furnished by the Owner, as <br />may be necessary to carry out the duties of the Architect <br />concerning the project." <br />112.6.22 The Architect shall prepare or provide a set of <br />record drawings, which Owner shall be at liberty to <br />reproduce, showing significant changes in the work made <br />during construction based on marked up prints, drawings <br />and other data furnished by the Prime Contractors to the <br />Architect including, but not limited to, the location of <br />water, sewer, telephone, electric, gas and other utility <br />lines. <br />(s) In article 3 amend paragraph 3.1.1 in line two immediately <br />after the words "Article 12" insert "Or the attached 'Article <br />12 - Exhibit All' to the agreement and by striking or deleting <br />from line six of said paragraph the words "or confirmed" and <br />substitute in lieu thereof the words "in advance" and by <br />inserting in line six immediately preceding the word <br />"services" additional words: "In the opinion of the <br />Architect "; and in line nine of said paragraph immediately <br />following the word "Owner" insert.. "of the need for those <br />services and shall notify the Owner in.writing ", and at the <br />end of said paragraph insert the following additional <br />language: "If, however, services described under paragraph <br />3.3 are required, due to circumstances within the control of <br />the Architect, such services shall be provided as a part of <br />basic services ". <br />(t) In Article 3 amend paragraph 3.2.1 by inserting immediately <br />after the first word "if" the following additional language: <br />"The Owner and Architect agree that." <br />Page 4 of 7 -- Appendix "A" <br />
