The purpose of this group <br />was "to ascertain realistic student population <br />projections by appropriate geographic area ". <br />Specifically, the group was to consider the <br />following questions: <br />Why the state's enrollment projections show <br />considerable enrollment growth during a timeframe <br />where the overall county population is projected to <br />grow at a slower rate? <br />Should a slowdown in enrollment be expected <br />similar to the slowdown in overall population <br />growth? <br />In what parts of the County will the projected <br />enrollment growth occur? <br />The Committee met for the first time on April 2, <br />1990, to discuss these issues. As a result of <br />
