Community alternative sewage <br />treatment and disposal systems are currently prohibited in <br />the University Lake watershed except to address a public <br />health emergency. <br />SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS TEXT AMENDMENTS <br />The proposed amendments to the Orange County Subdivision <br />Regulations are as follows: , <br />1. Amend SECTION IV -B -2 -e RESOURCE PROTECTION to require <br />a subdivider to develop strategies for the protection of <br />significant natural and cultural resources from the <br />impacts of his /her development. <br />2. Amend SECTION IV- B -5--d FLAG LOTS to: <br />a. Permit flag lots which provide for the protection of <br />significant natural and cultural resources. <br />b. Permit flag lots where a road created in lieu of a <br />flag lot would not be extended or otherwise needed <br />for access. <br />3. Amend SECTION IV- B -8 -e -3 SCHEDULE OF REQUIRED LAND USE <br />BUFFERS to require buffers for proposed subdivisions <br />adjacent to significant natural and cultural resources. <br />4.
