cis <br />westward from the Durham County line and including all of <br />Mt. Herman Church Road, Couch Mountain Road and Dove Creek <br />Road; then along Old NC 10 west from Dove Creek Road to <br />University Station Road, north on University Station Road <br />to US 70, east on US 70, concluding at Mt. Herman Church <br />Road. <br />Route 7 (partial) Durham begins at a point approximately <br />one - quarter mile north of the I -40 underpass on Erwin Road <br />(Chapel Hill's zoning line), and continues north on Erwin <br />Road to the Durham County line. Included are Dry Creek <br />Road, Timberly Drive, Moriah Hill Road and portions of Mt. <br />Moriah Road and Whitfield Road; then west on Whitfield <br />Road to Wisteria Drive, and including Pine Hill Road. <br />General Statute 153A -240 requires that a Public Hearing be <br />held on the proposed house and building numbers to be <br />assigned. Notices have been sent to all affected residents <br />and posted in the Courthouse and two other public places <br />within each proposed area. <br />A Planning Board recommendation is not required on the <br />proposed house and building numbers, and the Commissioners <br />may approve the assigned numbers following the conclusion <br />of the hearing. <br />RECOMMENDA- <br />TION: Approval of the proposed house and building numbers, <br />followed by notification of the Hillsborough Postmaster, <br />the Durham Postmaster and the N.C. Department of <br />Transportation, as required by G.S. 153A -240. <br />0 <br />
