The <br />comments provided in my May 23 memorandum stil apply. <br />An additional attachment is an editorial presented on WRAL -TV <br />on May 24. I don't know that any response is necessary, but <br />it is provided as information. <br />The final attachment is a letter sent to Chairman Carey by <br />Ross and Nancy Pipes. The concerns that they express are not <br />new, having been stated by others at public hearings on house <br />numbering. The quotation cited by the Pipes was inserted in <br />the public hearing /property owner notice at the request of <br />the Board. It came about as a result of citizens appearing at <br />public hearings and challenging the method rather than the <br />house nu- proposed to be assigned. <br />If you have questions, let me know. <br />
