Located in University <br />Lake watershed, the situation prompted the County <br />Attorney to express concern to the Planning Director <br />about the application of the new standard to existing <br />dwellings in the watershed. Specifically, if the <br />primary and /or back -up nitrification field(s) for an <br />existing residence failed, and there was no suitable <br />location on the same lot for a repair field, the <br />standard would prevent the owner from residing in the <br />dwelling.
