II. PUBLIC COMMENTS AND STAFF RESPONSES <br />Meetings <br />A series of seven public meetings were held io receive public comments and questions on <br />the Recommended Thoroughfare Plan. After the series of meetings <br />was completed, the staff met to study the issues which were raised and to develop <br />alternatives in problem areas. <br />This report will address the comments made by the public at these seven meetings and <br />those received in writing. in instances where the same or sirailar comments were <br />repeated, the report discusses the issues raised only once. The alternatives developed by <br />2.1 <br />
